Delivery times

  • Regular: within 15 working days or 21 days from biometric enrolment 1.
  • Express: within 7 working days or 10 days from biometric enrolment 1.
  • Super express: within 2 working days from biometric enrolment 1.
  • Government employees with a No Objection Certificate or retirement document get express service at the regular fee, or super express at the express fee 1.

How to pay

You can pay online through A-Challan, DGePay or ShurjoPay, using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, mobile wallets such as bKash, Nagad and Rocket, or several banks. You can pay offline at any government or private bank through A-Challan 1.

How to apply

You fill in the application online at epassport.gov.bd. Documents do not need attestation and no photo is attached to the form. You apply according to your national ID card or online birth registration certificate 2.

Under 18 you use the online birth registration certificate. From 18 to 20 you can use either. Over 20 the national ID is required, though missions abroad accept the birth registration certificate. You submit the application at the passport office for your current address, or at a Bangladesh mission abroad 2.
